Morning Wall, France – Artist Postcard
In 2011, I was living in France.
On market mornings I would leave before the light fully settled, driving along quiet country roads to reach a small village where vintage textiles were laid out on folding tables at dawn.
One morning, after parking, I noticed a wall.
The image on this postcard is what I saw that day.
I took the photograph quickly, before the light shifted and the moment dissolved.
It has stayed with me ever since.
This is not a seasonal card.
It is a declaration card, a quiet one. A message that can be sent any time of year. A small piece of a morning that once felt suspended between stillness and possibility.
Printed from my original photograph.
