Pair of Vintage Barbapapa Erasers | 1970s/80s Novelty Stationery

A wonderfully cheerful pair of vintage Barbapapa erasers, featuring two of the much-loved shape-shifting characters.

Made in wonderfully muted shades of orange and dusky pink, each little character has its own printed illustration, one holding a telephone and the other reading a book.

Believed to date from around the 1970s to 1980s, although there are no visible maker's marks or dates, so I cannot date them precisely.

They have clearly been kept rather than used up, surviving with their wonderfully nostalgic illustrations still visible. A lovely little find for a collector of vintage stationery, childhood ephemera or Barbapapa memorabilia.

Condition: Both show age and storage wear, including small marks, surface wear and some loss and fading to the printed decoration. Please see photographs for the best indication of condition.
