Vintage 1980s Dummy Eraser Necklace | Novelty Stationery

A wonderfully peculiar piece of vintage novelty stationery, a tiny dummy or baby's soother with a green eraser, suspended from a gloriously bright neon pink cord.

The sort of completely unnecessary stationery accessory that made the 1980s rather brilliant.

The little cream plastic dummy holds a bright green eraser beneath it and retains its original long pink cord, allowing it to be worn as a necklace. It also comes with the old clear cellophane bag in which it was found.

Believed to date from the 1980s, although there are no visible maker's marks or dates, so I cannot date it precisely.

A wonderfully kitsch addition to a collection of vintage erasers and novelty stationery, and increasingly unusual to find complete with its cord.

Condition: Vintage condition with minor marks and signs of age and storage. The original cellophane bag is crumpled and worn. Please see photographs for condition.
